INVESTMENT

As a lifestyle and wedding photographer, documenting the most important parts of life is one of the most special commitments that a client could entrust to me. From the tiniest details of everyday life, to the beautiful moments of your big day, and to the raw moments of emotion intertwined, I want to be there. I want to tell your story through timeless, authentic, dreamy, and joyful photos that take you back to that instance in time.

At the end of the day, photographs are the few tangible things we can hold onto and help us remember intimate moments. I truly believe in finding and connecting with the right photographer for your portraits, weddings, or engagements. If you feel we’d make a good connection, shoot me a message in my contacts section and I’d be happy to get back to you!

TESTIMONIALS

"The amazing @victoriamphoto captured the most heartwarming, pure, real, beautiful moments from our wedding day. And she and her crew are the sweetest, most professional photographers in the game. I highly recommend them to ANYONE. They’re simply THE best. Now we have a whole album to look back on forever and reminisce on this perfect day with all of the beautiful details, emotions, and loved ones!"

- Kaylee & Aaron

"I was so pleased with my photos from Victoria and they were definitely worth it. She captured our wedding exactly as we wanted it to and her prices were very reasonable. Her style is "light and airy" and she captures moments without being overly dramatic. She is also incredibly personable, which made us feel very comfortable on our wedding day!"

- Ryan & Matt

"Amazing! Victoria is such a sweet heart. The price was perfect and affordable compared to many photographers out there. She made us feel comfortable and at ease. She's so friendly and easy to talk to. We enjoy working with her and love our engagement & wedding pictures!"

FAQs

What's your style of photography?

I'm a lover of natural light and I follow the pretty light at all of my sessions. My photos are timeless, romantic, organic, and joy-filled and I love shooting wide open to get those dreamy and blurred out backgrounds. My style is lifestyle and journalistic - in the sense that I try to make natural looking photos (sometimes I will suggest slight movements to make it look flattering but without being to "posy") but I'm also journalistic in the sense that I capture photos in real time - just as you are - in your element. I'm a fan of lots of movement and cringe at stiff body posing, so don't be surprised if I'm always asking you do silly things to get the photo with your real interactions and emotions.

When is the best lighting for my session?

You've probably heard the saying "golden hour is the best type of lighting." And I will stand by that statement because it really is! The sun isn't so high in the sky, gives the prettiest glow, is flattering, and best of all - offers no harsh and unwanted shadows on your face. The best time at which you schedule your session depends on the time of year (i.e. daylight savings), however, the most ideal time is to shoot an hour after sunrise or an hour before sunset.

I don't know how to pose! Do you show me how?

I'm alleviating all of your fears right now! You DON'T need to worry about posing at all throughout the session. The only job you have is to show up with your beautiful self to the location and I'll be guiding and directing you the entire time! Easy peasy as that!

What kind of equipment do you use?

I shoot with a canon 5d mark iii and photograph most of the time with my prime lenses although I do use my zoom lenses when needed. I use a 24-70mm 2.8, 35mm 1.4, 50mm 1.2, 85mm 1.4, and a 70-200mm 2.8. I also own two Yungnuo 568 ii flashes when needed.

When can I expect my photos?

For weddings, the average turn around for photos is about 4-6 weeks. I take my time to carefully choose and edit each photo to give you the best of the best from your beautiful day! For engagements, family portraits, or any lifestyle type sessions you can expect galleries to go live online 3-4 weeks out from your session.

Do I receive all of the images that you take?

I take out all of the unwanted, blurry, repetitive photos and give you only the best photos from your session.

You use a lot of natural light in your photos. How will my reception photos look indoors?

I adore natural light and try to make use of it as much as I can but when the natural light is gone, I use my Yungnuo on camera flash if needed for indoor photography. I still edit my flash photos to emulate the bright and airy look. Here's a little tip for all you brides out there - when searching for a reception venue, it's helpful to have white or light colored walls because if you do need flash, those walls act as great reflectors when the flash fires off.
